Long Course Captain’s Certificate in 1987 – Professor of Maritime Education at the Higher Institute of Maritime Studies.
Positions held: Head of the Bridge Department, Quality Manager, Director of Studies, Deputy Director in charge of Continuing Education and Partnership.
- Holder of certificates: Training of Trainers, Fire Specialist, Multimodal Transport, Flag State Control of Ships, Maritime Search and Rescue, Maritime Security, International and European Ship Safety Regulations, Simulator Training, Health and Safety work on board ships.
- Member of the Moroccan delegation to the International Conference held at the IMO headquarters in London in 1995 for the adoption of the STCW convention.
- Head of the STCW unit at ISEM who worked on the information to be communicated to the IMO for the recognition of the Moroccan training structure vis-à-vis the International Convention on training standards for seafarers, issuance patents and monitoring.
- Management of the work of the commission for the development of the study programs followed within ISEM, crowned by the inclusion of Morocco on the first list published in December 2000 by the IMO (STCW).
- Appointed Competent Person of the IMO to give my opinion on the reports communicated by certain French-speaking States to this organization.
- Head of the Moroccan cell which led Morocco-Japanese cooperation in the field of maritime training for the benefit of ISEM.
